Governor Wiring & Internal Functions

1 Governor and motor power supply positive input.
2 Governor and motor power supply negative input.
3 Positive output of the motor power supply.
4 Negative output of the motor power supply.
5 High/low level output of positive/negative rotation control (High: 5V, Low: 0V). Controlled by touch switch 2 (F/R); defaults to high level.
6 High/low level output of brake control (High: 5V, Low: 0V). Controlled by touch switch 1 (BRA); defaults to high level upon power-up.
7 Analog voltage output (0~5V). Suitable for motors accepting analog voltage speed regulation.
8 PWM1 reverse output. Suitable for motors accepting PWM speed regulation; speed is inversely proportional to the duty cycle.
9 PWM2 forward output. Suitable for motors accepting PWM speed regulation; speed is proportional to the duty cycle.

Wiring & Potentiometer Note

- The output signal changes of the three interfaces (7 to 9) are adjusted by the potentiometer.
- FG/FG*3 Setting: Choose based on actual motor feedback requirements. Without a jumper cap, it operates as a single FG signal; adding the jumper cap changes it to 3 times FG (FG*3). The same setting rule applies to CW/CCW.

Parameter Settings

(1) Frequency Setting

Before powering on, press and hold touch switch 1. Turn on the power and release the switch when "FEQ:20K" appears. Press switch 1 to decrease and switch 2 to increase the frequency. Adjustable to the required frequency; factory default is 20KHz.

(2) Motor Pole Number Setting

Before powering on, hold down touch switch 1 and touch switch 2 simultaneously. Turn on the power and release both buttons when "number of poles: 1 polarity" displays. Press touch switch 1 to decrease and touch switch 2 to increase. Adjust to the motor's designed pole number; factory default is 1 pole.

(3) Feedback Setting

The FG/FG*3 pin (indicated in Figure 1) sets the feedback multiplier. Adjust according to whether the motor requires single FG or 3 times FG feedback: add a jumper cap for 3 times FG, or leave it without a jumper cap for single FG.

(4) Direction Setting

The CW/CCW pin (indicated in Figure 1) configures the initial state of motor direction. Set this based on the motor's default rotation (CW or CCW) when the direction line is suspended. Add a jumper cap for CCW, or leave it off for CW.

Main Display Information: The current screen displays four main parameters: input voltage, speed, frequency, and duty cycle. Note that the motor speed will only display properly if the FG/FG*3 feedback and pole count are set correctly.

! Governor Precautions

(1) The positive and negative power supply lines must be connected correctly according to the instructions and must not be reversed. Incorrect connection will prevent operation and damage/burn the governor.
(2) The governor is designed specifically to match motors that utilize the control interfaces described above.
