Optimizing Drive Efficiency for Battery-Powered Systems
Battery-operated motors face a unique engineering challenge: the critical need to maximize torque density while minimizing power consumption. In portable devices, every micro-amp saved translates directly to longer runtime and compact battery packaging. Achieving this requires minimizing both mechanical friction (hysteresis losses) and electrical resistance (copper losses).
